History

In 1941, Joseph ROYEN founded his industrial bodywork workshop, aware of the future expansion of road transport.

The company grew significantly in the 1960s and had about ten employees at that time. Back then, Royen was mainly specialised in the adaptation of bodywork for all types of chassis, as well as the repair of wheeled equipment intended for road transport.

In 1988, in addition to its industrial bodywork business, Royen began designing 3-axle tarpaulin semi-trailers.

Over the years, thanks to its flexibility and versatility, the company was able to adapt, step by step, to the various changes in road transportation. Shortly before the 2000s, faced with increased competition and the wish to continue offering a quality product, Royen abandoned the manufacture of "standard" semi-trailers to concentrate on designing a range of innovative products.

Today, meeting the "made to measure" needs of our customers remains our priority, by adapting our products to their requirements and their sectors of activity while guaranteeing them high-quality service!
