As part of the expansion of our 24-hour emergency response service, we have just taken delivery of a new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 317 CDI. This replaces our 2017 Ford Transit, which, after several years of service to our teams, had clocked up more than 201,000 kilometres.
This latest-generation vehicle meets the most recent environmental standards and provides greater comfort, safety and driving convenience. Its larger loading area and increased interior height will also allow our technicians to work more easily during on-site interventions.
A fully equipped mobile workshop
Our new Sprinter will gradually be fitted out as a fully equipped mobile workshop. This will allow us to transport the necessary tools, spare parts and equipment directly to the intervention site.
Our technicians will be able to carry out work on:
- tail lifts;
- heavy goods vehicles;
- refrigeration and air-conditioning systems on trucks and trailers.
Our objective is to further develop interventions directly at our customers’ premises or wherever a vehicle is immobilised, without systematically requiring it to be brought back to our workshop.
Reducing intervention times and vehicle downtime
With this new mobile workshop, our main objective is to further improve the responsiveness of our 24/7 Mobile Service. Whenever the nature of the intervention allows it, our technicians can travel directly to the site to carry out a diagnosis and perform the necessary repairs.
This approach enables us to reduce intervention times and minimise the impact of breakdowns or vehicle downtime on our customers’ operations.
This new investment further strengthens our Repair & Maintenance Service and our ability to respond as closely as possible to our customers’ needs.
